Supporting “Ambition Zero Carbon” Commitment

The AstraZeneca Supplier Conference 2023 was a critical milestone in the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability, targeting its vast supplier network to elevate sustainability practices.

With the goal of fostering a collective movement towards environmental responsibility, the event featured virtual keynotes, live Q&As, and breakout sessions tailored to varying levels of sustainability expertise among suppliers. The conference attracted 1635 visitors from 54 countries, saving approximately 2238 tonnes of CO2 by being hosted virtually. It concluded with a strong call to action, significantly advancing AstraZeneca’s “Ambition Zero Carbon” commitment.
