Stronger Together

The North West London Procurement Services (NWLPS) hosted its inaugural “Stronger Together” supplier event to introduce a new procurement strategy aimed at improving efficiency, innovation, and cost-effectiveness in healthcare outcomes.

As a newly formed shared service for nine NHS partner organisations, NWLPS emphasised the importance of collaboration and alignment with suppliers to enhance patient care quality, sustainability, and social well-being across North West London. The event marked a pivotal shift towards transparent and engaging communication, fostering collaborative partnerships with suppliers.

Key highlights included insights into the new Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system, social value, and sustainability, aiming to guide suppliers in supporting the NHS’s strategic goals. Approximately 40 suppliers participated, gaining clarity on the NHS’s direction and expectations, underlining the event’s success in strengthening supplier relationships and advancing healthcare objectives.
